They say that good things take time…

So I would like to share some really big news with you all…

The council has officially approved my planning application for the Otways distillery at 47 Main Street, Birregurra.

There is alot of work to be done, first stage will be fixing the old restaurant to open as a small friendly tasting room with a courtyard and second stage will be building the production shed where I can manufacture and store materials and my barrels of brandy, whisky etc.

Thank you to all of my family, my distillery dad, dear friends, the old owners, architect, planning consultant, tradies, business friends and Birregurra/Colac/Forrest/Otways locals who have believed in it and supported me through this process. It means the world to me.

I have been searching for over 4 years. I am so glad/relieved/proud we finally officially have a place to call home in Birregurra in the Otways.
